Getting Started

DocuBench lets MCP-compatible AI agents use controlled browser workbenches.

This manual covers setup and usage for DocuBench users.

What You Need

An AI agent or MCP client, such as the Codex application, Codex CLI, or Claude Code.

Tutorial

DocuBench ships with a Demo workbench configuration. The first time you start the app, a tutorial guides you through the basic setup and concepts:

  • System configuration and workbench configuration
  • Navigation control and allow and deny lists
  • Connecting an AI agent to a workbench
  • Navigation approval request and audit
  • MCP tabs and site instruction

Choose an AI Agent

Start with the AI agent you already use. Each agent has its own configuration format, but all of them need the same two DocuBench values:

  • MCP endpoint URL
  • Bearer token
